Attorney : Hello! I am Attorney Nat. Can i help you? สวัสดีครับ ผมทนายณัฐ มีอะไรให้ผมช่วยไหม?
Peter : Hello! I am Peter. Yes, I need your help. สวัสดีครับ ผมชื่อปีเตอร์ ใช่ครับ ผมต้องการความช่วยเหลือ
Attorney : What are you charged with? คุณถูกแจ้งข้อหาอะไร
Peter : I am charged with an offence of misappropriation. Help me please. ผมถูกแจ้งข้อหายักยอกทรัพย์ โปรดช่วยผมด้วย
Attorney : I see. Please tell me the fact of this case. ผมทราบ ช่วยเล่าข้อเท็จจริงในคดีให้ผมฟังด้วยครับ
Peter : I did not commit an offence. It is a misunderstanding and..... ผมไม่ได้กระทำความผิดนะ มันเป็นเรื่องเข้าใจผิด และ....
Attorney : OK! I will help you. Don't worry! By The Thai Law. ตกลงผมจะช่วยคุณ อย่ากังวล ตามกฎหมายไทย
It's presumes that the accused is innocent until proven guilty. จะสันนิษฐานไว้ก่อนว่าผู้ถูกกล่าวหานั้นเป็นผู้บริสุทธิ์จนกว่าจะมีการพิสูจน์ได้ว่าเขากระทำความผิด
The prosecutor must prove beyond the resonable doubt. เป็นหน้าที่โจทก์หรืออัยการที่จะต้องพิสูจน์จนสิ้นข้อสงสัย
Where any reasonable doubt exist as to whether or not the defendant has commited an offonce? เมื่อยังมีความสงสัยตามสมควรว่าจำเลยได้กระทำความผิดหรือไม่?
The benefit of doubt shall be given to the defendant. ศาลจะยกประโยชน์แห่งความสงสัยนั้นให้จำเลย
Peter : Oh really! What a relief. โอ้จริงเหรอ ค่อยยังชั่วหน่อย
Attorney : Offence of Misappropriation is compoundable offence. Cases concerning a compondable offence may be withdrawn or settle at any time before they become final. ความผิดฐานยักยอกทรัพย์เป็นความผิดต่อส่วนตัว ความผิดต่อส่วนตัวนั้น จะถอนฟ้องหรือยอมความในเวลาใดๆ ก่อนคดีถึงที่สุดก็ได้
Peter : Oh thank you. I want to appiont you to be my lawyer. ขอบคุณครับ ผมต้องการแต่งตั้งคุณเป็นทนายให้ผม
Attorney : The lawyer fee is ........... ค่าทนายความสำหรับคดีนี้คือ.............
